Larry Campbell
Publisher, SCMP.com
Larry Campbell is Publisher of SCMP.com, the South China Morning Post's new media division. A journalist for 15 years, Campbell made the transition from hot metal to what SCMP.com now sees as being  beyond Web publishing by developing an interest in technology early in his editorial career. He joined the Post in 1990 to help start the weekly Technology Post section and left the company to pursue his own Internet publishing interests in 1996. Among them were The Dataphile, Asia's first Internet magazine, and itdaily.com, one of the world's leading online technology news services. Campbell rejoined the Post to head up publishing operations at SCMP.com in October at an exciting time for a media organisation that has almost 100 years of history behind it.
