Gina M. Capalbo

Ms. Capalbo is responsible for Ford new markets, worldwide, focusing on China, Taiwan, India, ASEAN and South Korea. She is the lead Ford negotiator for China/Taiwan WTO accession, US-Korea automotive trade agreements, Indonesia national car WTO case, India post-QR auto policy and auto TRIMs extension requests under the WTO.

Gina joined International Governmental Affairs in 1988. She specialized in Mexican Affairs and led development of Ford's policy toward the NAFTA, approved in 1993. During that time she also handled governmental affairs issues for Australia, South Africa, Europe and Latin America.

Ms. Capalbo joined Ford Motor Company in 1978 as a US legislative research assistant in Governmental Relations Staff. She handled a range of automotive product and employee issues for the Federal Legislative Affairs Office.

Gina received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan
and is a native of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
