Guoliang
Mr.
Wang Guoliang, senior economist, is now the Chairman
of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Company Limited.
Mr.
Wang Guoliang served as Secretary, later, Deputy Director
of Administration Dept. of Zhengjiang city government,
Jiangsu Province from 1977 to 1984. Mr. Wang was appointed
as Deputy Manager, Bank of Communications, Zhengjiang
sub-branch in 1988 after he had served as Deputy Director
of Foreign Affairs Dept., Zhengjiang city, Deputy Governor
of Jurong county, Jiangsu Province respectively. After
he had served as director of Light Industry Bureau of
Zhengjiang City from 1989 to 1993, Mr. Wang was appointed
as Deputy GM of Trust Dept., GM of Planning Dept., Bank
of Communications, Head Office and Board member of China
Pacific Insurance Company. In 1998 he became the vice
chairman and president of China Pacific Insurance Company.
