Ken Dewoskin

Ken Dewoskin presently is a partner in PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP, responsible for China strategy and China business development. He is currently active with e-business initiatives, telecommunications equipment makers and operators, and technology companies.

A former Professor of International Business and Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Former Chair of his department and former Associate and Interim Director of Michigan's Center for Chinese Studies, Dr. Dewoskein has been involved with China for over 35 years. He has lived and worked for several years in China and Japan. He received his B.A. from Columbia University in 1965 and his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 1974. He has also studied at National Taiwan University and Kyoto University, and he is a fluent speaker of Mandarin Chinese and Japanese.

Dr. Dewoskin's experience with mainland China goes back to 1977, when he first traveled there. He worked with government, public sector, and private sector projects in China, developing partnership relationships with a variety of Chinese companies and governmental organizations.
