MICHAEL D. KENNEDY
Vice President,Director of Global Government Relations Office, Motorola Corporate

Mr. Kennedy has been involved in international policy and global regulatory issues in telecommunications for the past 25 years. He is currently Corporate Vice President and Director of Motorola's Global Government Relations Office. In this capacity he is responsible for spectrum and telecom policy, trade policy, federal and state legislative affairs in the U.S., Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. Previous to his current assignment, Mr. Kennedy was responsible for the policy and regulatory requirements of Motorola's communications businesses globally especially, 2G and 3G cellular systems, IP-based networks, private mobile radio and public safety applications, on national, regional and global levels. Prior to that Mr. Kennedy was responsible for Motorola's global satellite policy, North American regulatory programs, and before that he was headquartered in Brussels, Belgium where he established Motorola's first offshore Government Relations Office and was responsible for the European telecommunications policy program. Before joining Motorola, Mr. Kennedy held various positions at the Federal Communications Commission where he was directly involved in regulatory policy matters including mobile radio spectrum planning and technical standards.
