Wen, Ku

Ku Wen is the Deputy Director General for the Telecommunication Bureau of the Ministry of Information Industry(MII) since 2001. From 1982 to 1995, Ku Wen worked in Post and Telecom of Shandong province. From 1995 to 1997, he worked at China Telecom Network Management center. He worked at Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications(MPT) from 1997 to 1998. From 1998 to 2001, he served as Deputy Director General for the Science and Technology Department of MII.

Ministry of Information Industry(MII), designs and deploys the development strategy and policy of China's telecommunications, electronics manufacturing and information technology industries. The Telecom Bureau, a department of MII, is mainly responsible for issuing licenses of telecom operation in China.
