Parking

Parking in the vicinity is difficult, and is restricted to Cambridge residents only on many nearby local streets. There is some on-street metered parking. Visitors are encouraged to use the area's extensive public transit system, particularly the MBTA Red Line which provides inexpensive parking at its Alewife station. For those traveling to Harvard by car, limited parking is available at:

  • Church Street Lot: 41 Church Street, between Brattle & Mass. Ave.
  • Harvard Square Parking: corner of Eliot & JFK Streets.
  • Charles Square Garage: University Rd. & Bennett St.
